Man’s criminal defense important for attempted murder charge

While police spoke with the man, he allegedly punched one of the officers in the eye.

Officers took a knife from the man’s waistband, and he was taken into custody despite allegedly resisting arrest. He is currently facing charges for attempted murder, aggravated assault of an officer, unlawful possession of a weapon and resisting arrest. The victim of the stabbing was taken to an area hospital for treatment, but that person’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.
