Biography
In 2023, Anthony joined DeCosmo Law as an Associate Attorney. Anthony has been practicing law for 20 years. After graduating from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University in Washington, D.C., he served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Frank J. Montemuro, Jr. of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. After completing this clerkship Anthony worked with his father at the law firm of Dickstein & Scutti in Philadelphia where he gained experience in research and writing in the areas of civil and criminal practice. For a time thereafter Anthony worked as a freelance legal researcher and writer while obtaining a Master of Arts in English. In 2014, he returned to practicing law full time; at this point he worked as an Associate Attorney for The International Institute of Akron in Ohio from 2014 to 2015, where he prepared various immigration-related applications such as those involving Naturalization, Adjustment of Status, and Consular Processing. From 2015 to 2020 Anthony worked as an Associate Attorney for Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, where he continued to prepare the abovementioned Applications and also prepared other applications such as those for relief under Violence Against Women Act, U Visas, and for Stateside Waivers. He also prepared Applications for Asylum and related relief for both USCIS and the Immigration Court. From 2020 to 2023 Anthony worked as an Associate Attorney for a New Jersey based firm in private practice, where he litigated cases involving Asylum relief as well as Cancellation of Removal relief.
